Image Doodle is the freehand brush panel of the image workbench (?tool=doodle). Pick a colour (the eight swatches red, orange, yellow, green, blue, purple, white and black, or the custom colour picker), a size (1–120px) and an opacity (5–100%), then hold and drag on the canvas to draw. Every stroke you finish becomes its own object layer rather than being baked into the pixels — after switching to another tool you can click a stroke and drag it elsewhere or press Delete to remove it, and the panel also offers “Delete selected stroke” while a stroke is selected. All drawing happens locally in your browser.

Unlike “Pixelate”, doodling adds something instead of hiding something; unlike “Text and Stickers”, it is hand drawing rather than typesetting.

1. 01Open an image and choose Doodleclick the tool on the left rail.
2. 02Set up the brushclick a swatch or pick a colour with “Custom colour”, then drag “Size” and “Opacity”; a thick semi-transparent brush makes a good highlighter.
3. 03Drawhold and drag on the canvas; letting go completes the stroke, and drawing again starts a new one.
4. 04Adjust and exportswitch to another tool, then click a stroke to drag it or press Delete to remove it; when you are happy, use “Export” in the top bar.

• Supported input: JPG / PNG / WebP / GIF / BMP / AVIF / HEIC
• Brush: a round freehand brush only — no line, arrow, rectangle or ellipse shapes; straight lines need a steady hand or a stylus
• Size 1–120px and opacity no lower than 5%; there is no pressure sensitivity and no brush texture
• Object count: one object per stroke, and the canvas slows down after a few hundred strokes
• What it does not do: no mosaic hiding (use “Pixelate”), no typesetting (use “Text and Stickers”), and no partial erasing with an eraser (you can only delete whole strokes)

Strokes are drawn on a local canvas in your browser and the picture is never uploaded anywhere; closing the page releases the memory behind it.
