• The data comes from the third-party Nager.Date service, so accuracy and update cadence are that service's.
• For China the API supplies public holiday dates, but the current implementation has no State Council make-up workday data, so it cannot be used to work out actual working days.
• The year range on the page is whatever the implementation offers, not an unlimited historical database.
• Caching lasts up to about 24 hours, so a correction made by the third party may not appear until the cache expires.

• Useful for a quick look at public holidays when planning across countries.
• Ordinary calendar reminders.
• Working out Chinese working days should use a dedicated tool that carries make-up workday data.

The third party receives the year and the country code, never your personal calendar. Returned results may be written into the current browser's query cache; clearing site storage removes the cache.
